Lovely garden terrace with BBQ facilities. Nearby restaurant and grocery store. Enjoyed skiing and cycling activities. Comfy lounge with free wifi. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Oh, and who doesn't love a hotel that doesn't allow pets or service animals? Such a shame…

Staying at Marmota was a great choice for our group of friends. The hostel had everything we needed, from spacious rooms with amazing mountain views to a large bathroom and separate closet space. The staff was friendly and we loved that they had bike and ski storage facilities. The breakfast was delicious and there were six tables outside where we could enjoy the view. We also loved the convenience of being just a short walk away from Ambras Castle.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk to the tram station. We were able to easily explore the city thanks to its convenient location. One thing that stood out was the breakfast. It was delicious and offered a diverse selection of products, including fresh fruits and vegetables. The shower equipment in our room was in excellent condition, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The receptionist was kind enough to provide us with a discount voucher for the cableway, allowing us to save some money on our activities.
The bed sheets provided were too small for taller individuals. I'm 1.81m and had to use an extra blanket from my car to keep warm.

The location was perfect, with the bus stop nearby making it easy to get around. The breakfast buffet provided a great start to the day, with plenty of options to choose from. The facilities were in excellent condition, everything was brand new and clean.
The staff could have been more welcoming and friendly, it would have made the overall experience much better. The prices at the bar were quite high, making it less likely for guests to spend time there.

As a business traveler, I appreciated the well-connected bus service to the city center. The room at this hotel was impeccably clean and one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The staff, particularly the check-in girl, was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offered a 24-hour check-in service, which was convenient.
Felt at home, no reason to complain.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly welcome we received at the hostel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who immediately poured us beers to enjoy in our room. The communal area where breakfast is served was very inviting, with free WiFi and refreshments available. The view from the small outside area overlooking the valley was truly spectacular. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great modern private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and cereals. We appreciated the daily updates on temperature, snowfall, and events. The location, though a bit far from the city center, was easily accessible by tram and bus. our stay at the hostel was amazing and we would highly recommend it.
While the location was a bit far from the city center, the easy access to public transportation made it manageable. Additionally, there were bugs coming in from the field during the summer, so it was important to close the windows and turn off the lights at night to avoid them.

The value for money at Marmota was excellent - the room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The location was convenient, just a short walk from Ambras Castle and close to the tram stop. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better at Marmota would be to have a wider variety of options available.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a variety of bread, juices, and even hot sausages. The bathroom in my room was a great feature, with a very hot shower. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to attractions like Ambras Castle and Gardens.
The noise in the morning was a bit bothersome as I could hear almost everything. the curtains in my room didn't match the size of the windows, which made me feel a little uncomfortable with people potentially looking in from outside.

Oh, how I enjoyed walking 400 meters to find the nearest restaurant and grocery store. Really added to the convenience of my stay.
